In the past decades there has been a massive   increase ingenomic data and knowledge about diseases, thereby enabling   targeted therapies.Current molecular diagnostics (PCR, micro-array) cannot   provide the genomicinformation required by most emerging targeted therapies.   Fusion Genomics’ONETest^TM platform, based on NGS machines,   allows: 1) accurate andsimultaneous detection of a broad array of infectious   agents; 2) assessment ofantimicrobial and antiviral resistance markers; and   3) capability tomolecularly “fingerprint” the agent(s) to track transmission   dynamics at local,regional or global levels.

The system consists of our patent pending DNA/RNA   capturetechnology called Quantum Probes^TM, which are designed   usingFusion’s proprietary machine-learning algorithms. Quantum Probes^TMare   synthetic DNA molecules engineered to capture highly variable DNA (e.g.   allknown species and sub-species for a particular set of pathogen or   pathogens)with unsurpassed sensitivity (up to 1,000x higher than existing   moleculardiagnostics) and specificity (>99%). The probes are combined with   fullyoptimized reagents into an ONETest^TM kit. Sequence data   producedfrom the test is analyzed using Fusion’s proprietary FusionCloud^TMdatabase   and analytics suite.
